What is included in a Idyllic wedding at Salt Chapel?
Full use of the entire venue for the day. Salt chapel is designed for 100 guests, has a sound system with Bluetooth to play any music your desire. Access to the Blue house that has restrooms, seating, giant 2 person mirror, and professional preparation stations with back lite mirrors for the bridal party. Access to Silo Hall reception building that has round & rectangle tables and seating for 100 guests, a prep kitchen, restrooms, custom lighting, party lights, Bluetooth audio system, photo wall, and customizable space to make your layout unique to your liking. All buildings are heat and cooled and a Salt Chapel supervisor will be on site to assist in any needs during your wedding.
What is included in a Micro wedding at Salt Chapel?
Micro wedding are the same as Idyllic wedding above just with a smaller amount of guests (50 or less) total. This is allows for a more budget friendly wedding without losing any of the amenities.
What is included in a Intimate wedding at Salt Chapel?
Intimate weddings (elopement) are designed for parties that do not wish to have a reception but want to use the one of a kind Chapel and Blue House for 3 hours. This allows clients to get everything they could want for the wedding ceremony and time to have those amazing pictures.
What are the time frames for use of the venue for weddings?
Intimate Weddings - 3 hours of the clients choosing
Micro & Idyllic Weddings - 10 hours (with rehearsal prior) or 12 hours (with no rehearsal)
What is not included in a wedding at Salt Chapel?
Salt Chapel's goal is to include as many amenities as we can without restricting any clients when it comes to the design of their dream wedding! These items below are not included but we can assist in securing them for you.

3. Decorations / Linens
4. Special rentals such as barrels, separate bar, backdrops, table decorations, etc..
5. Bar Tender (required if liquor is served)
6. Parking assistant
7. Food / Catering

Rules and Expectations
Salt Chapel venue (entire property) does not allow any form drugs, thc, weed, etc. of any kind anywhere. A Designated area for smoking / vaping can be established next to the property with restrictions. The actual chapel does not allow food or drink inside except water, the dress house allows water and snacks, and the reception hall does allow food and drink. Please be sure your guests are aware of this. Because of potential damage, we do not allow fireworks, sparklers, anything with open flame on the property. We do not allow birdseed, glitter, etc. to be thrown. Bubbles are allowed but only to be used outside. Seating is limited in the chapel, no more than 100 guests may be accommodated. Parking is limited and parties are encouraged to carpool as much as possible for easier travel to and from. All food is to be prepared off site as the event hall does not have cooking appliances or allowed to be a cooking kitchen. The rental party is responsible for depositing all trash into the provided bags and placing bags in the trash receptacles outside the reception hall. The Chapel reserves the right to deny service and or ask any guest to leave the premises immediately.

Marriage licenses must be obtained in the state of Mississippi. They may be obtained in any county courthouse. There is one in Hernando, MS. No blood test or waiting period is required. Salt Chapel will not allow weddings that are not authorized by the laws of the state of Mississippi or that violate the by-laws of Salt Ministries.
Out of state ministers must register their license at a county courthouse in the State of Mississippi prior to performing a wedding in the chapel. Since Salt Chapel is a part of Salt Ministries, all ceremonies must be in accordance with its biblical bi-laws. Salt chapel reserves the right to refuse any ceremony or part thereof not in accordance with the by-laws of Salt Ministries.
